Let’s see what’s in the October 2015 Rag Tag Box!
I somehow forgot to take any photos of the box itself (oops!), but here’s a look inside.
A little intro to the box/contents was washi-ed to the inside lid.
October’s theme was “Oh, the Horror!” and included a bunch of Halloween-y items, all which were listed on the info card.
2 Note Cards with Kraft Envelopes – Creepy cards to send to your creepy friends. I know the clown card is a Stephen King “It” reference (because I Googled it!), but I’m not sure if the knife one is too… Google wasn’t as helpful with that one. 😉
Fabric Drawstring Bag – A small white cotton/polyester bag with a spooky spider print on the front. Perfect for holding a few Halloween treats.
Halloween Keychain – This neat little keychain appears to be made from a wooden tile which was painted and screen-printed(?). I thought the dude was Dracula at first, but now I don’t know… He looks pretty damn sinister though, whoever he is.
Halloween Notepads – Included were a small owl-themed notepad, a round eyeball one, and a matchbook style pad made by Spot Colors.
Halloween-y Writing Instruments – One pen featuring an eyeball design, a polka dot “old school” pencil, and a purple & black mechanical pencil.
Eyeball Cross Stitch Kit – Another Spot Colors exclusive, this DIY cross stitch kit includes everything needed to create a cool eyeball pattern decoration.
Paper Bags & Mini Erasers – A small polka dot treat bag and neat little french fry style orange pouch/bag are the perfect size to stash a few festive candies inside. The four mini erasers featured an owl, candy corn, eyeball, and pumpkin. Cute!
Rubber Duckie & Drink Stirrer – More random Halloween goodness — a werewolf-inspired rubber duckie and a plastic eyeball drink stirrer.
Stickers – Four sets of mini stickers featured test tubes, skulls, caution signs, skeletons, and more.
Candy – Gotta have candy! One Halloween-themed unicorn sucker and two eyeball candies were included.
The October Rag Tag Box was definitely a fun box to open and sort through. — So many random Halloween goodies! Obviously, I couldn’t do a cost breakdown since many of the items are made by Spot Colors. That said, the monthly cost does seem a little high, so I’d say this box is definitely more about the curation than the total monetary value of the items.
For a limited time — through 11/20/15 — you can save 20% off your total purchase with coupon code “OCTBOXFUN“!
