Ready Set Go Box is a new children’s subscription box that offers fun and engaging activities that are ideal for taking on the go.
Each box will contain a hand-selected variety of toys, games, activities, and snacks that are easy to travel with and provide some educational and/or developmental benefits. All items will require little to no set up so children can begin to play as soon as they open the box, helping to spark creativity and create a sense of independence in your child. Boxes are geared towards children ages 3 to 5, but plans are in the works to cater to additional age groups as well.
Subscriptions are $27.95/month, or less with multi-month commitments. — For a limited time, you can save 20% on your first 3 months of a month-to-month subscription with coupon code “MRKPLC20“!
Let’s see what’s in the November 2016 Ready Set Go Box!
The box was shipped via priority mail and had a spot to personalize it with your child’s name.
A peek inside!
A note to parents was pasted to the inside lid which explained more about the subscription.
A 2-sided “pack list” listed all of the items in November’s box, along with descriptions for each one.
The Wikki Stix Book of Wiggles, Squiggles & Curlicues – Not too long ago, I ordered a free sample pack of Wikki Stix and my girls loved them. — They’re colorful, non-toxic wax and yarn “sticks” that you twist & bend into various shapes which can stick together (or to other surfaces) without any glue or mess of any kind. This neat book allows your child to complete pictures using the included package of Wikki Stix. Such a cute idea!
Melissa & Doug Colors & Shapes Water Wow! – My girls absolutely LOVE these Water Wow books. (We must have at least ten of them at this point!) Just fill the included pen with water and “paint” the pages to reveal the pictures hidden below. Once the pages dry, they’re ready to be painted once again.
Magnetic Maze – This little magnetic frog maze is a perfect choice for taking on the go. It’s totally self-contained so you don’t have to worry about losing any pieces. There’s even a built-in holder for the attached “pen”. Oh, and it’s fun to play with too! (Even for mom. 😉 )
Fall Craft – I love that Ready Set Go Box chose to include a cute fall-themed craft in their November box. All of the materials were provided to make your own little scarecrow to display in a flower pot or centerpiece. Adult supervision was required as the project involved attaching a wooden dowel to the back, but most of the steps were simply glueing various pieces together.
Crayola Crayons – You can never have too many crayons! I was happy to see that they included Crayola too. 🙂
Coloring Pages – Two simple coloring sheets were included in the box: a castle/fairy theme and a space scene. They were rolled up and held with a rubber band, but rolling them out in the opposite direction easily allowed them to lay flat for coloring.
Angie’s Boom Chicka Pop Sea Salt Popcorn – This popcorn is delicious and has just 3 all natural ingredients: corn, sunflower oil, and sea salt. Yum!
Clif Kid Organic Z Bar in Full Moon Brownie – I bought a few of these bars last year after Halloween (when they were on clearance, woo!) and was surprised by how good they were. The bars are made with whole grains, are a good source of fiber, and contain zero GMO ingredients.
YumEarth Gummy Bears – Naturally flavored gummy bears made with real fruit juice. They’re also gluten free, nut free, and made with organic cane sugar.
Purell Advanced Watermelon Splash Hand Sanitizer – Kill those germies! — This watermelon scented hand sanitizer kills 99.99% of most common germs that can make you sick. Plus, it smells nice. 😉
Wow! — What a great first offering from Ready Set Go Box! I love that they included such a fun mix of games, activities, crafts, and snacks. We’ll use every item in the box and while I didn’t do a cost breakdown, I think it’s safe to say that the value is there too. Awesome box!! 😀 — Remember, for a limited time you can save 20% on your first 3 months of a month-to-month subscription with coupon code “MRKPLC20“!
