Let’s see what’s in the February 2019 Sleek Treat box!
Everything was shipped in a small brown box with the Sleek Treat logo on top.
A peek inside!
As always, a 2-sided info card listed all of the items inside this month’s box, along with photos and brief descriptions for each one.
February’s box was very chocolate-heavy and I am NOT complaining! 😉 First up, we have a 70% dark chocolate bar blended with crispy popped quinoa for added texture and crunch. It’s made with fair trade cocoa and is sweetened with Reb A (an extract of stevia). It’s also vegan, gluten-free, and a nice source of fiber (8 grams per serving).
Created with the keto diet in mind, this chocolate coconut flavored snack bar is loaded with MCTs and prebiotic fiber to keep you satisfied & energized. It also contains a whopping 20 grams of fat (a good thing if you’re doing keto), 9 grams of protein, and just 3 grams of net carbs.
These crunchy cheese snacks are made with all natural ingredients including pasteurized cow’s milk, milk protein, salt, and cheese culture. Each 2-serving package contains 12 grams of protein, 2 grams of total carbs, and 170 calories.
When I saw that these chocolate covered almonds were clearly labeled “vegan”, I decided to open them up and sample one for review purposes. Welp, one turned into a few and I soon realized that I had eaten half the box. Whoops! 😉 Needless to say, these things are quite tasty — especially considering they contain 0% sugar. I’m impressed!
This cute little resealable packet contains 12 pieces of cotton candy flavored sugar free “gourmet gum”. Each pack sold helps to support “House the Homeless”, an organization that provides shelter to those in need.
While I really enjoyed the chocolate covered almonds reviewed earlier, I just can’t say the same about these chocolate bites. Yes, it’s the same exact chocolate, but it just seems to be lacking something on its own. Something like… oh, I don’t know… almonds? 😀
These fun tooth-shaped lollipops were developed by dental professionals and contain zero sugar. Instead, they’re sweetened Xylitol, a natural extract of the birch tree. They’re also free of artificial sweeteners, flavors, and colors. Plus, they’ll totally adorable.
February’s box included a chocolate truffle in one of the following “mystery flavors”: Velvety Mocha Dark Chocolate (which I received), Sexy Strawberry Dark Chocolate, or Sea Salt Dark Chocolate. Each piece has just 55 calories and 2.5 net carbs. They’re sweetened with erythritol & stevia and are also keto-friendly.
I was excited to see so much chocolate featured in February’s Sleek Treat! — Especially since the majority of it was vegan-friendly. I’m honestly a little tired of seeing those cheese bites pop up so often, but other than that I thought it was an awesome box. 🙂 — Remember, for a limited time you can save $10 on your first box with coupon code “T1D10“!
