SpaceMail Pal is a new subscription service designed for children to “explore space through the magic of mail”.
Each month your child will receive 2-4 full color, glossy postcards written by a PBS Kids scriptwriter and designed with beautiful space-themed images. Cards are geared towards kids ages 4 to 11 and feature personalized notes about the extraterrestrial adventures of Astronaut Neil and Robot Sally. There are 3 different subscription options to choose from: The Space Trainee Plan includes 1 postcard a month, mailed once a month. The Space Cadet Plan includes 2 postcards per month, mailed every other week. The Space Explorer Plan includes 4 postcards per month, mailed weekly.
Disclosure: I received this box for review purposes. I was not compensated in any way. All opinions are my own. Post may contain affiliate and/or referral links.
Subscriptions start at just $2.99/month and US shipping is free.
Let’s check out SpaceMail Pal!
I received the Space Explorer Plan (4 cards per month), which were sent all at once for review purposes. Normally, you would receive one card per week.
Each postcard featured a full-color photo of the topic at hand on the front, with the letter from Astronaut Neil on the back.
I blurred out my address information, but each card will be addressed right to your child so they’ll get the fun of receiving their own mail (yay!). The letters from Neil are written in a kid-friendly way, yet are still packed with interesting space facts & tidbits that children will enjoy learning about.
Along with planets, SpaceMail Pal also digs into other things you’ll find in our galaxy, like black holes.
Also, note the space-themed stamps! 😉
SpaceMail Pal is a fun, affordable subscription for budding astronauts and inquisitive kiddos with an interest in space. The postcards are informative without being boring and the photos are beautiful. 🙂
