The Big Oh! Box is a subscription box that delivers a selection of full-sized “adult” toys & accessories to your door on a quarterly basis.
Each box will include a new toy — chosen based on your personal preferences selected when you sign up, along with 6-10 additional items designed to bring a little more fun and variety to your repertoire. (Note: You also have the option to choose “no toys” during signup.) Boxes will feature a different theme each quarter and can include items such as whips, restraints, massage candles, blindfolds, vibes, lubricants, bondage gear, and more.
Disclosure: I received this box for review purposes. I was not compensated in any way. All opinions are my own. Post may contain affiliate and/or referral links.
Subscriptions are $109/quarter, with shipping included. Monthly subscriptions are also available at $59/month.
Let’s see what’s in the April 2017 The Big Oh! Box!
Everything was shipped in a large, discreet black box via Priority Mail.
A peek inside!
I didn’t see an info card of any sort, so I’ll just jump right to the items…
Closet Collection The Sophia Bendable Duo G. Vibe
Sophia is a dual stimulator bendable vibe that features an ergonomically correct silicone shaft, along with an external stimulator. She’s made of soft silicone with ABS trim and runs on two AAA batteries. There are 12 powerful functions to choose from and you can keep her tucked away in the black satin bag included in the box. Batteries didn’t come with the toy, but The Big Oh! Box was kind enough to provide some. 🙂
Sinful Vinyl Blindfold
A flexible vinyl blindfold designed to fit comfortably over the face without causing too much pressure. It features a soft elastic band to hold it in place and is suitable for extended wear. The design is kinda fun and makes the thought of being blindfolded seem a little less intimidating.
Speaking of intimidating… The next item could certainly fall into that category for some subscribers, so The Big Oh! Box included a pamphlet to help things go a little smoother: “An Introduction to Rope Tying”. Can you guess what the next item is?
KinkLab Bondage Rope
Yep, it’s bondage rope! — 25 whole feet of it. 😉 It’s made of soft black nylon and its ends are finished by hand to prevent fraying. While strong enough for serious play, it’s also smooth and gentle on bare skin.
Curb Tip Safety Scissors
To be honest, I wasn’t sure what these scissors were for until I read the description for the bondage rope that suggested having curb tip safety scissors handy. These are actually EMT/medical shears that are designed to cut through clothing without cutting through a patient’s skin. They can also be used to cut through bondage rope with the same ease and safety. Good to know!
Shunga Erotic Art Sparkling Strawberry Wine Massage Candle
How lame does it make me if my favorite item in an adult subscription box is a massage candle? Asking for a friend. 😉 I seriously cannot stop sniffing this thing! It’s made with 100% natural oils in a soy wax base and produces a lukewarm lotion that can be used for massage. The sweet scent of strawberries and wine is so, so nice! Love it. Oh — and there was even a box of matches included too!
Sliquid Organics Natural Intimate Glide Gel
You can never have too much lube! This water-based gel is infused with certified organic botanicals and is designed keep your most intimate areas soft & moisturized, while healing and soothing your skin. The formula is free of glycerin & parabens and contains no sugar derivatives of any kind, making it super easy to clean up (no stickiness!).
KinkLab Bondage Tape
An alternative to bondage rope, this 2-inch restraint tape is both non-sticky (sticks only to itself) and reusable. It can be used as a blindfold, wrist restraints, ankle restraints, and for body binding. It’s made of PVC and has a total length of 65 inches.
The Big Oh! Box is a great subscription box for anyone looking to explore new methods of achieving pleasure in a discreet, non-intimidating way. All of the items were of high quality and though I didn’t do a cost breakdown, I’d say the value is definitely there. (The vibe alone sells for $64!) 🙂
