Urthbox is a snack subscription box that focuses on products that are natural, organic, and GMO-free.
They offer 4 different box options to choose from: Classic (healthy snacks), Vegan (no animal or dairy), Gluten-free (100% gluten-free), and Diet (calorie/fat/carb conscious). They also offer 4 sizes (Mini, Small, Medium, and Large) ranging from $12.99 to $39.99/month. Monthly prices drop significantly with 3 and 6 month plans. Shipping is always free.
Let’s see what’s in the February 2017 Urthbox (Small Box)!
A peek inside.
Urthbox doesn’t include info cards — just a generic card like the one above that states the month and type of box. I received the Vegan (Small) box.
Members can earn points for sharing the Urthbox love on social media. Points turn into credits that you can use to save money on future boxes.
A gluten-free/vegan snack bar made with just 3 ingredients — chopped dates, dry roasted peanuts, and raisins. It also contains no GMOs or added sugar.
I wasn’t quite sure what to expect from a granola truffle, but it was surprisingly… truffle-y! I received Ginger Cardamom Zest, which was made with gluten-free oats, dates, pecans, cranberries, ginger, cardamom and other natural ingredients — all coated in smooth dark chocolate.
An organic dried apple snack made with just a single ingredient — organic apples. One serving/package is equal to one whole serving of fruit.
These crunchy baked snacks are made with semolina flour and have 60% less fat than regular chips. I’ve gotten them in a LOT of subscription boxes in the last year, so I’m kinda over ’em. That said, the Rosemary flavored ones are my favorite so I was glad to see them included.
I always feel weird sucking fruit puree from a pouch (uh, who wouldn’t?), but this was pretty good. Very sweet, but good. It’s made with a blend of organic apple & grape purees and lemon juice concentrate as a preservative.
A healthier brownie made with whole wheat flour, date paste, raspberries, non-dairy chocolate, and other all natural ingredients. I’ve gotten them in other subscription boxes and they’re quite tasty. 🙂
I’m a little nervous about trying this… I haven’t had too much luck with veggie-based drinks in the past and just the thought of drinking vegetables (unless in a smoothie with fruit) makes me uneasy. That said, I suppose I could always pour a bit of this in my regular smoothie if I don’t like the flavor on its own. We’ll see!
An all natural chewing gum sweetened with birch xylitol. It’s GMO-free and contains no sugar or artificial sweeteners.
A vegan & gluten-free superfood bar made with all natural, organic ingredients. It’s packed with fruits, nuts, and seeds for a filling, yet healthy snack.
Oooh! I can’t wait to try this. — It’s a vegan-friendly almond butter cup that’s free of GMOs, gluten, soy, and artificial flavors, colors, & preservatives. Mmm!
Nature’s Joy California Almonds
Raw whole California almonds and nothing else. — Just 100% natural goodness.
VitaFive is a subscription service that sends you a supply of personalized gummy vitamins on a monthly basis. They even have vegan options! Included was a sample of CoQ10 gummies.
An all natural supplement that helps to restore a healthy magnesium level and balance your calcium intake, which results in natural stress relief.
A great variety of vegan-friendly snacks & treats from Urthbox! While I was familiar with a few of the brands, there were a lot that were totally new to me — always a plus with snack boxes. Remember — you can save $10 on your first month of Urthbox (good on ANY box/size) just by using this link! (If it doesn’t automatically take $10 off at checkout, use coupon code “SNACKBOX10“!)
