This is my first Vegan Presence box and I’m super impressed!
Vegan Presence is a monthly subscription box service that features — you guessed it — all vegan-friendly products. Items can range anywhere from food to beauty to household essentials. The website states that it’s $85/6 months or $165/year, but that’s for an introductory offer which is no longer available. However, when I mentioned it to them, they were happy to still honor it. Yay! Oh, this is my mother’s day gift from Mike, so… Thanks Mike! 😉
I was so excited when I saw the box on my front porch. I wasn’t expecting it, as all of the reviews I’ve read showed it coming in an eco-friendly bubble mailer. They are BIG on recycling/using sustainable materials. As you’ll see shortly, a box was a definite must this time.
How cute is that folded up letter? It contained all of the product details, including how to use them, why they were chosen, and where you can purchase more. It made it feel more like a care package from a friend, than a subscription box.
It really did feel like I was opening a personal birthday gift. Look at those bows! These folks definitely pay attention to the details. Bravo, Vegan Presence!
Glass Jelly Jar & Hand Blown Straw Set by Moxie Glass – The first item was kinda tricky to photograph, but you get the idea. It’s a pretty glass jelly jar with a hand blown glass straw. The photo definitely doesn’t do it justice. The straw is a really pretty green and a nice length of 8 inches (ooh la la!). The lid of the jar has a built-in hole to accommodate said straw perfectly. This set is safe for both hot and cold drinks, and dishwasher safe as well. Woo! Retail price is $11 and can be purchased here.
Ananda Organics Mountain Rose Bath Salt Bliss Bag – This smells SO good! It’s a blend that includes pink Himalayan mountain salt, organic rose petals, and essential oils. You just toss the whole sachet into your bath and get your relaxation on. I’m definitely looking forward to trying this. I’ve been all about baths lately. This retails for $3.50 and can be found here.
Genmaicha Tea by Happy Earth Tea – Mike and I went through a phase a couple years ago where we were super into loose leaf teas. We bought infusers and special pitchers… We ordered loose leaf blends online… I even bought disposable “tea sacks” to use for brewing loose tea at work. For whatever reason (laziness), we kinda lost interest in our tea obsession. So I think it’s time to make nice with our infusers again, and I’m going to start with this here tea. It smells wonderful and I’ve always loved full-flavored green teas. It’s made with brown rice, which is supposed to give it a more “substantial” feel. Neat. This retails for $10 and more sizes (even sample-sizes for $2!) can be found here.
I am extremely pleased with this box. Everything was decently sized (no foil packets!) and of high-quality. All of the items will be put to use, and likely soon. The total retail value is $24.50, and since I bought a 6-month sub, I only paid roughly $14 for everything. Not bad at all! If you’d like to subscribe, I’d really appreciate it if you put my name (Wendy Rose) in the “referred by” section. 🙂
Disclosure: I/Mike paid for this with my/his own money. All opinions are my own. I was not reimbursed in any way for writing this review.

I love those glass straws!

I haven’t tried them yet, but I just popped them (I also got one in a past Conscious Box) in the dishwasher, so I’ll be trying them out shortly! 🙂
