Let’s see what’s in the August 2016 Craftly Box!
A peek inside.
An info card listed all of the products in the box including a brief description, retail value, and coupon code for each one.
Das Boom West Indies Bar Soap ($15) – My husband prefers body wash, but I’m really hoping he uses this bar soap cos it smells SO friggin’ good. Manly in all the right ways, it’s infused with essences of bay rum, smoke, and dirt for an earthy/rugged scent. The bar is handmade using all natural ingredients including blue green algae, rosemary extract, and argan oil. (It appears as though it got a wee bit soft/melted in transit, but it’s soap, so no biggie.)
Unsimply Stitched No Show Socks ($10) – I used to be pretty anti no show socks, but they’ve kinda grown on me. Especially in the summer when I’m treadmilling (aka the only time I ever wear sneakers). Unsimply Stitched has a huge selection of socks in fun prints like these colorful palm trees. I know my husband would never set foot (ha!) in these, so they’re all mine. 🙂
Kiko Leather Classic Card Case ($15) – Welp, clearly this one’s going to my husband. (Vegans aren’t too keen on leather. 😉 ) This classic leather card case features two card slots, finely finished stitching, and hand turned edges for durability. It measures 4.25″ wide and 2.75″ high.
AgStandard Smoked Almonds ($1.99) – These nonpareil California almonds are smoked using real almond wood and high quality spices. They contain no artificial flavors, additives, refined sugars, or preservatives and are vegan-friendly. (Yay!)
The August Craftly box definitely had a manlier vibe going on this time around. I personally don’t mind, since I have a husband to share the goods with, but I could see how single ladies could be a little bummed. That issue aside, it was still a pretty solid box with a retail value of over $40. 🙂
August 2016 Craftly Review
Not my *favorite* Craftly box to date, but still a nice value. I’m really hoping my husband uses that Das Boom soap. Mmm! 😉
