Cram Boxes is a brand new subscription service whose goal is to make student’s lives a little easier.
Every Cram Box will be filled with college and dorm room essentials including snacks, supplies, lifestyle items, and more. The founder is currently a college student himself, so he knows firsthand which products students really want/need.
Boxes are only available during the school year and can be purchased a month at a time or by semester (4 months). One single box is $32, one semester (4 boxes) is $108, and two semesters (8 boxes) is $176. Shipping is included in all plans.
Okay, let’s see what’s in the September 2015 Cram Box!
Everything was shipped in a small brown box adorned with a Cram Boxes logo sticker.

Ever Bamboo Room Deodorizer & Humidifier – A smart inclusion for a college box, this all natural room deodorizer & humidifier eliminates odors for up to 1 year. It uses bamboo charcoal to naturally absorb odors instead of just masking them like other air fresheners. Just plop the enclosed pouch anywhere in a room to reap its benefits. To help it last as long as possible, set it in the sun every 30-60 days so it can “recharge”.
Barney Butter Almond Butter – These little packets of almond butter make a nice, quick snack between classes and they’re healthy too!
Paper Clips, Earplugs, Pencils – A few simple essentials that every college student needs, but might not think to pick up themselves.
Earnest Eats Baked Whole Food Bar – I love these! They’re baked whole food bars packed with good-for-you ingredients like whole grains, fruits, and nuts. They’re also wheat-free and vegan. Yay!
Earnest Eats Chewy Granola Bars – More Earnest Eats goodness! I’ve never seen this granola bar version before, so i was excited to try them. The dark chocolate almond bar was delicious.
Water Bean Water Treatment Stick – This is a cool filter that you can stick right inside any water bottle to have fresh, clean water anywhere you go. Just pour in some tap water, swirl it around to let the filter do its thing, and you’ve got tasty, “untappy” water. It lasts for up to 3 months, so it’s a great alternative to constantly buying bottled water.
Dum-Dums Lollipops – Lollipops! Cos what college kid doesn’t like candy?
Cram Boxes seems like the perfect subscription for college students. The items were practical and totally ideal for dorm life. I didn’t do a total cost breakdown, but the deodorizer and water filter both sell for around $10 each, so that’s $20 right there. I’d say the best option would be to order a full semester (or 2) to really get the most bang for your buck. Plus, you can save $10 on a 1 or 2 semester subscription when you use coupon code “back2college” at checkout!
