Let’s see what’s in the Spring 2018 FabFitFun Box!
The pretty pink Spring box!
A peek inside!
A full-color newspaper style booklet provided details on all of the items included in the Spring 2018 FabFitFun box, along with style tips, interviews, and more.
Rachel Pally Reversible Clutch ($60)
This reversible clutch was designed exclusively for FabFitFun! Three different patterns/colors were available, with Select members having the option to choose their favorite. I went with “Paradise” — a pink, white, and aqua print with fun tropical vibes. The vegan leather clutch is canvas lined with polyester and features an embossed logo on the inside. According to their website, all proceeds from the clutches will be donated to the Young Women’s Leadership Network in NY. Nice!
Anderson Lilley Sunset Collection Candle ($45)
Honestly, I wasn’t initially thrilled with the particular scents that annual subscribers could choose from with this candle, but now that I’ve received my pick I LOVE it! I went with “Fresh Linen” — other options were “Manhattan Beach” & “Super Bloom” — and I couldn’t be happier. I can’t pinpoint exactly what it is, but something about the scent reminds me of my childhood and that’s always a good thing. 🙂 The candle itself is made with a coconut wax blend & a lead-free cotton wick. Once it’s burned, you can reuse the copper vessel as a planter for Spring succulents or even indoor herbs. Love it!
Free People x Understated Leather Starry Eyed Travel Eye Mask ($40)
A collaboration between Free People & Understated Leather, this travel eye mask features a removable, non-toxic cooling insert to keep you looking refreshed and a fully adjustable elastic strap for a perfect fit. It’s made of vegan leather and has an allover embroidered metallic star design. Subscribers received one of various available colors (randomly selected).
KORRES Guava Body Butter ($24)
For Spring’s “Beauty Choice” item, subscribers could choose between a 5-pack of KNC Beauty Lip Masks or the body butter above. I use body butter on a daily basis, so this was an easy choice for me. It’s made with shea butter, almond oil, quince extract, avocado oil, and other skin-nourishing ingredients. It also smells amazing.
ISH Lip Statement Palette ($42)
This lip palette features 11 highly pigmented shades and 1 balm for endless color combinations. The formula is infused with nourishing jojoba oil, shea butter, rose extract, olive oil & aloe vera. It’s also cruelty free and contains no parabens or gluten.
Physique 57 Massage Roller ($20)
I wasn’t sure if I’d have any use for this roller, but once I tried it on my legs, I was sold! It’s specially designed to relieve sore muscles, improve flexibility, break up scar tissue, and generally make your body feel GOOD. Subscribers were sent one of 4 randomly selected colors and I’m happy with this pretty pale purple guy. 🙂
Maya Brenner Designs LOVE Bracelet ($65)
Spring’s “Jewelry Choice” item was a pair of Ettika Day Dreamer Tassel Earrings or a Maya Brenner Designs LOVE Bracelet in silver or rose gold. I (obviously) went with the silver LOVE bracelet. While I do like the daintiness of it (I didn’t expect it to be so small!), it’s not exactly my style. That said, it’s still a cute piece. It’s made of silver toned stainless steel and measures 6-7 inches in length (adjustable).
Murad Skin Perfecting Lotion ($40)
Though I’ve never used their products, I’ve heard a lot of good things about Murad. This super light, oil-free moisturizing lotion is designed to smooth out blemish-prone skin while deeply hydrating. It also minimizes the appearance of pores, refines texture, and soothes skin redness & irritation. Sounds promising!
Dermelect Cosmeceuticals Makeover Concealing Ridge Filler ($18)
This anti-aging ridge filler is designed to conceal nail imperfections with a natural pink hue while treating them with protein, vitamins, and hydration. You can use it as a base or top coat with your favorite polish, or wear it alone for a bit of shine.
Dove Exfoliating Body Polish (Bonus Sponsored Item)
The final item was a sponsored item from Dove. Honestly, this is one of my least favorite bonus/sponsored items that I’ve gotten in a FabFitFun box. A tiny sample sized item just feels kinda “meh” — especially compared to previous sponsored products. Ah well.
Bonus item aside, I was absolutely impressed with the Spring 2018 FabFitFun box! My favorite items this time around were the Anderson Lilley candle, KORRES body butter, and Physique 57 massage roller. The total retail value of my Spring 2018 FabFitFun box was $354!! 😀 — Remember — if you’d like to sign up for FabFitFun, you can save $10 on your first box (making your box just $39.99!) with coupon code “BLOOM10“!
