April 2018 Fit Snack review time!
If you’re new to them, Fit Snack is a snack subscription box that’s curated to include items that are both well balanced and nutrient dense. When selecting products to include in the box, they use the Fit Snack “Perfect 10″. Put simply, they look for snacks that fall into one or more of these categories: Nutrient Dense (high in protein, complex carbs, low sugar index), Consciously Made (GMO free, organic production, sustainably farmed), and Diversified Energy (gluten free, clean eating, paleo, raw).
Disclosure: I received this box for review purposes. I was not compensated in any way. All opinions are my own. Post may contain affiliate and/or referral links.
Each box will contain 6 to 9 healthy (yet satisfying) items that have total retail value of at least $30. While most of the items fall into the “snack” category, they also send cooking mixes, supplements, beverages, and more.
Subscriptions are $24/month (shipping included), or less with longer, multi-month commitments. It also looks like they ship worldwide. — For a limited time, you can save $3 on your first box! No coupon needed, just click this link.
Let’s see what’s in the April 2018 Fit Snack box!
The familiar white & turquoise box was shipped via Priority Mail.
A peek inside!
An info card listed all of the snacks, as well as accompanying photos, short descriptions, and a few discount codes.
A healthier alternative to regular potato chips, these Rise Buddy snacks are made with brown rice and are baked, not fried. They’re also gluten-free and contain no trans fats.
Yum, chickpea puffs! These morsels of puffed goodness are 100% vegan and made with all natural/organic ingredients including chickpea flour, rice flour, sunflower oil, seasonings, and pea hull fiber. I’ve had a few other flavors, but this vegan white cheddar one is my absolute favorite. SO good!
Amsety Bar is the first nutrition bar to help support liver health. It’s made with organic, non-GMO ingredients and contains no refined sugar, sodium, or gluten. It’s also dairy-free and vegan-friendly. The box included two flavors — Dark Chocolate & Peanut Butter. They’re both surprisingly good, but the chocolate one is my favorite.
A great treat for satisfying your chocolate cravings, this bar features real cocoa, crunchy almonds, cream, and plenty of protein (10 grams!). It also has 3 grams of fiber and only 100 calories per bar.
A healthier alternative to the traditional rice crispy treat, this marshmallow crisp bar has just 100 calories per serving and only 2 grams of sugar. It’s also low in fat and provides 11 grams of protein & 6 grams of fiber to satisfy your sweet tooth without over-indulging.
A doctor developed supplement drink made with all natural ingredients, LifeAid Thrive contains no artificial flavors, sweeteners, or colors and has just 45 calories per serving.
Oven baked crackers made with natural ingredients including lentil flour, pea flour, whey, and cream. They’re low fat, gluten-free, and contain 3 grams of plant-based protein per serving.
Ooh! I’ve heard about this brand, but have yet to try any of their products. Needless to say, I was thrilled to see this (vegan-friendly!) peanut butter protein cookie in this month’s box! Not only is it dairy, egg, and soy free, but it also has just 1 gram of sugar and 13 grams of protein per cookie.
An all natural, organic superfood supplement that’s rich in micronutrients, flavonoids and phytonutrients to increase energy, restore pH balance, help synthesize proteins, and strengthen the immune system. It’s dairy-free, soy-free, non-GMO, and vegan friendly.
As always, a nice mix of healthy snacks, treats, and beverages from Fit Snack! My favorite items this month were the No Cow Peanut Butter Protein Cookie, Amsety Bars, and Hippeas. 🙂 — Remember, for a limited time you can save $3 on your first box! No coupon needed, just click this link.
