Time to unbox & review the April 2023 Fit Snack box!
Fit Snack is a snack subscription box that’s curated to include items that are both well balanced and nutrient dense. Each box will contain 6 to 9 healthy items ranging from snack foods to cooking mixes, supplements, beverages, and more. When selecting products to include in the box, they use the Fit Snack “Perfect 10″. Put simply, they look for snacks that fall into one or more of these categories: Nutrient Dense (high in protein, complex carbs, low sugar index), Consciously Made (GMO free, organic production, sustainably farmed), and Diversified Energy (gluten free, clean eating, paleo, raw).
Disclosure: I received this box for review purposes. Post may contain affiliate and/or referral links.
Subscriptions are $29.90/month (shipping included), or less with prepaid multi-month plans. It also looks like they ship worldwide. — For a limited time, you can save 20% on your first box! No coupon needed.
The familiar white & turquoise box was shipped via UPS Ground.
A peek inside!
An info card listed all of the snacks, as well as accompanying photos, discounts, and brief descriptions of each item.
Siete Grain Free Fuego Tortilla Chips
These crunchy “fuego” flavored tortilla chips may be free of grains, but they’re loaded with heat! They’re also dairy-free, gluten-free, paleo, vegan-friendly, and made with non-GMO ingredients. I’m sold!
Simple Chocolate Sea Salt and Almond Matcha & Chia Bars
I was excited to see a new-to-me brand featured in this month’s box and even more so when I noticed the word “vegan” on the labels of both bars. However… Right before I opened up the Chocolate Sea Salt flavor to give it a try, I (thankfully) double-checked the ingredients and found that it actually contained whole milk powder. 🙁 Hopefully the error has been brought to their attention and they remove “vegan” from the back of the label. The Almond Matcha & Chia flavor does look to be vegan (no milk powder), so at least I can still try that one. (Chocolate Sea Salt sounded so much more enticing though!)
Mola Foods Plantain Chips
I LOVE plantain chips and just may have devoured this 4-serving (resealable!) bag in one sitting. Oops. 😉 The crunchy, non-GMO chips are made with just 3 simple ingredients: plantains, coconut oil, and sea salt. They’re also gluten-free and vegan-friendly. Yum!
Bakery on Main Unsweetened Instant Oatmeal
Bakery on Main’s gluten-free instant oatmeal features a unique blend of certified whole grain gluten-free oats, flax meal, chia seeds, quinoa, and amaranth. Each serving contains 6 grams of fiber, 8 grams of protein, and zero sugar. It’s non-GMO, gluten-free (obviously), and vegan-friendly.
Käze Gouda Cheese Bites
This healthy, keto-friendly snack is made with 100% real gouda cheese. Käze uses an innovative drying technique that transforms the cheese into a crunchy bite-size snack. It’s great for taking on the go and since it’s already crunchy on its own, no crackers are needed!
Earnest Eats Apple Ginger Bar
A 100% natural vegan snack bar made with wholesome ingredients including whole rolled oats, almond butter, raisins, organic dried apples, walnuts, and more. I’ve had a few different flavors of these bars and they’ve always been tasty.
Green Mustache Spicyish Mustache Munchies Crackers
These adorable little mustache-shaped crackers are vegan-friendly, gluten-free, and made with organic ingredients. They’re also free from any artificial colors, flavors, and preservatives. Bonus: Since they’re a little on the spicy side, I won’t have to worry about sharing them with my kids. 😉
My April 2023 Fit Snack box included a nice assortment of crunchy snacks, wholesome bars, breakfast options, and more. My personal favorites this time were the Siete Fuego Tortilla Chips, Mola Foods Plantain Chips, Earnest Eats Baked Apple Ginger Bar, and Green Mustache Spicyish Crackers. — Remember, for a limited time you can save 20% on your first box! No coupon needed.
