It’s October 2016 My Geek Box unboxing time!

Let’s see what’s in the October 2016 My Geek Box!
The big blue box.
A peek inside! — As always, there wasn’t any kind of info card/booklet included, so I’ll just jump right to the goods!
Skeleton Vulcan Salute T-Shirt – A fitting design for October, this month’s t-shirt features a skeleton hand making the Vulcan “live long and prosper” salute. A little geeky, a little spooky, and absolutely something my husband would wear. Win!
DC Collectibles Justice League Throne of Atlantis Ocean Master Action Figure – I don’t know a thing about Justice League, but according to Amazon, this figure is based on designs of the Throne of Atlantis animated movie. “Ocean Master” stands 6.8″ tall and looks pretty intimidating with his creepy red eyes and matching cape.
Marvel Comics Printed Shoelaces – I knew these shoelaces looked familiar, and when I flipped them over and saw the Loot Crate logo on the back I remembered why. These same shoelaces were included in the May 2016 “Unite” Loot Crate box. I’m not sure why they would want to include a product that was exclusive to a competitor’s box, but… here it is.
Pandorica Turncoat: The Trial of NUS Comic – A limited edition prequel to the Pandorica movie. This comic includes a free code to watch the full length Pandorica film.
Sonic the Hedgehog Print – A black & white print of a Sonic the Hedgehog sketch. It looks like it was produced in celebration of his 25th anniversary. (I really wish My Geek Box included info cards/booklets!)
I’d say this was just an “okay” offering from My Geek Box. My husband really liked the skeleton hand Vulcan salute tee, but the rest of the items were kinda “meh”. I’m still trying to figure out why they’d want to include a Loot Crate exclusive item. Weird. — Remember if you’d like to subscribe, for a limited time you can get free shipping on your first box. My Justice League figure was a different character (Black Manta). I had to look up reviews to find out if I was missing something from the shirt but it turns out it is what I thought it was – I think it will be a good shirt for Zombies, Run workouts.

Yeah, the Vulcan thing was a little on the subtle side. I’m thinking most people would just think it’s a plain ol’ skeleton hand.
