June Bramble Box time! — I’m a bit late getting to this review, mainly because we didn’t have all the necessary supplies to complete the projects this month. In fact we still don’t, so instead of putting it off any longer, I’m just going to review the box as it was received (projects incomplete).
If you’re not aware, Bramble Box is a fun subscription box for children aged 4 through 8 years old. Unlike many kid’s boxes which tend to focus on crafts and toys, Bramble Box encourages learning through open-ended pretend play. [read more…]

If you haven’t heard, Book of the Month (BOTM) is a subscription that sends you a new hardcover book as chosen by a panel of judges every month. You’ll be given a choice between five different book selections which will be revealed on their site on the first of the month.
The books will include a broad range of genres and offer a mix of both fiction and nonfiction titles. Crafty BookBox is a new subscription box that sends your child a newly published children’s book, along with an accompanying craft.
Each box will include a carefully and professionally chosen hardcover picture book to help build on your child’s home library collection. They send newly published titles to lessen the chance of receiving duplicates. Along with the book, Crafty BookBox also includes materials to create a craft based on the theme of that month’s particular book. They include enough supplies for two children to complete their own craft (sibling add-ons are also available for more than two children).
