Adventure Trunk is a brand new subscription box geared towards younger kiddos (age 2 to 4). Each box contains 12 different hands-on activities that are approved by a certified elementary education teacher. The activities will focus on math, reading, and art, with one activity dedicated to each area per week. Every month will feature a different kid-friendly theme that the activities will be based on. Activities included will range from art projects, to stories, sensory activities, puzzles, and more. Every box will also include an “Explorer” booklet, which serves as your “lesson plans” for the month. It details how each […]
Batch Nashville is a regional subscription service that delivers the best that Nashville has to offer. They include goods from a variety of designers, artisans, and chefs. HauteLegs is a monthly subscription service that features the season’s hottest tights and leggings. Each month, you choose 2 of your favorite styles from their customized boutique. They’ll send you those two items, as well as a third “featured item” for that month (along with tips on how to style them). You can also choose to have just 2 pair sent to you — one you choose, and the other the featured item chosen by HauteLegs. When you initially sign up, you actually get to choose all of the selections yourself for that first month. So if you sign up […]
Nana’s Cookie Company makes some seriously awesome cookies. Not only do they taste amazing, but they’re also free of many common food allergens. You won’t find any dairy, eggs, casein, wheat, corn, or even soy in these bad boys. Oh, and refined sugar? Not in Nana’s! They’re all sweetened with natural fruit juice. Woo! Nana’s was kind enough to send me 3 of their new “Next Generation Cookie” flavors to sample: Maple Syrup, Orange Cream, and Pound Cake. Mmm!
When I first learned that I was pregnant, I totally envisioned myself lovingly cooking (er, steaming) up homemade purees for my baby… Going to the farmer’s market, buying fresh organic produce… Only the best for my little rosebud, right? Well, that was until I was informed that my single “rosebud” was actually two “rosebuds“. And homemade purees, well… they didn’t seem quite as magical. Thankfully, brands like Peter Rabbit Organics made for a damn good Plan B. Peter Rabbit’s fruit and veggie pouches are all made with 100% organic ingredients. They contain no added sugar, salt, or artificial preservatives — just yummy […]
Color Me Monthly is a fun nail polish subscription service that sends one seasonal color to you every month. All of their polishes are “free of toluene, formaldehyde/formaldehyde resin, dibutyl phthalate (DBP), and camphor” — aka non-toxic. Animal testing is also a big no-no (their polishes are vegan!) and they try to work with vendors who share that sentiment. Awesome! Oh, and did I mention that Color Me Monthly is only $7/month (shipping included)? Double awesome! I was sent their January “box” for review and was excited to see what color I’d get. Let’s have a look!

Urthbox is a relatively new subscription box that delivers healthy foods, snacks, and beverages right to your door every month. Urthbox focuses on products that are natural, organic, and GMO-free. They have 4 different box options to choose from: Classic, Vegan, Gluten-free, and Diet. Whichever box you choose, you’ll receive at least 10 products from a variety of health-conscious companies. Boxes are $25/month and shipping is free. Oh, and they also have a great rewards program that gives you credits to use in their soon to be opened online shop! I was supposed to receive the Vegan box, but there […]
Okay, so I already did a “Top 10” list of V-Day gift ideas for kids, moms & dads… But what about a list just for vegans? I mean, I’m a vegan, sooo… It only makes sense, right? Right! Oh, and you totally don’t have to be vegan to appreciate this stuff. Promise. The only criteria I used for the products on this list were: 1. They had to be vegan (duh) and 2. They had to be things I’d like to receive myself. 😉 Alright, let’s bring on the vegan-y goodness!
Tea Sparrow is a subscription service for — you guessed it — loose leaf teas. The Tea Sparrow team diligently samples various blends from around the globe. When they find their favorites, they pack ’em up and send them along to their lucky subscribers. Every month you’ll receive four pouches of hand-selected teas — enough to make up to 35 cups. Subscriptions are $20/month (less with longer commitments) with free shipping to the continental US and Canada. There’s also an option to pause/restart your sub whenever you’d like. Tea Sparrow kindly sent me January’s box o’ tea to review. This […]
Ecocentric Mom recently switched from a monthly box to an every-other-month box. I was a little bummed about it at first, but I’m kinda happy about the change now. It saves me money and gives me more time to use up the products before the next box arrives. As always, I received the “Mom & Baby” box this month. The other two options available are a “Mom-to-Be Box” and just a plain ol’ “Mom” box. Subscriptions are $24/box, but they often have discount codes available that are often good for the life of your sub. (I was able to score […]
Austin Lloyd is a great new(ish) subscription box for little ones. They offer unique, high-end toys selected specifically for your child’s current “play level”. I was lucky enough to be sent a review box this past November (which I LOVED), and even luckier to have won January’s box via a blog giveaway. Woo! Austin Lloyd is committed to providing toys that are not only engaging, but also bpa & phthalate free. None of the toys will ever require batteries and the total value of the items will always exceed the cost of your box. Awesome! Oh, did I mention that they also give you the […]
Conscious Box tiiiime! For any newbs out there (hi!), Conscious Box is a monthly subscription box that features eco-friendly/natural products. Items range from healthy snacks, to natural toothpaste, and everything in between. There are 3 different boxes to choose from: The Vegan Box (which I get), The Gluten-Free Box, and the Classic Box. All boxes are $19.95/month, but you can almost always find a coupon code — often up to 50% off! This month’s box felt really heavy, which is odd for a Conscious Box, so I couldn’t wait to open it. What was inside? Let’s take a gander!
Nibblr is a new snack subscription that offers a variety of portion-controlled snacks delivered to your door weekly, bi-weekly, or once a month (it’s up to you!). They currently have over 50 different snack mixes, ranging from fruit & nut blends, to “feel good sweets”, to more savory choices. Nibblr offers a cool rating system on their site so that you can choose which types of snacks you’d most like to try, as well as which ones you just wanna avoid altogether. I used the system to weed out all of the non-vegan snacks, and it totally worked! All of […]
