Color Me Monthly is a fun nail polish subscription service that sends one seasonal color to you every month. All of their polishes are “free of toluene, formaldehyde/formaldehyde resin, dibutyl phthalate (DBP), and camphor” — aka non-toxic. Animal testing is also a big no-no (their polishes are vegan!) and they try to work with vendors who share that sentiment. Awesome! Oh, and did I mention that Color Me Monthly is only $7/month (shipping included)? Double awesome! I was sent their January “box” for review and was excited to see what color I’d get. Let’s have a look!
Citrus Lane is offering new members 50% OFF their first box when you click here and enter promo code “FEBHALFOFF” at checkout! From now until February 15, Naturebox is offering all Ecocentric Mom new subscription sign-ups a $20 eGift toward a NatureBox subscription. You’ll also be able to receive 10% off any subscription with Ecocentric Mom when you click here and use coupon code: “NBECO10%OFF” at checkout. […]
Urthbox is a relatively new subscription box that delivers healthy foods, snacks, and beverages right to your door every month. Urthbox focuses on products that are natural, organic, and GMO-free. They have 4 different box options to choose from: Classic, Vegan, Gluten-free, and Diet. Whichever box you choose, you’ll receive at least 10 products from a variety of health-conscious companies. Boxes are $25/month and shipping is free. Oh, and they also have a great rewards program that gives you credits to use in their soon to be opened online shop! I was supposed to receive the Vegan box, but there […]
Okay, so I already did a “Top 10” list of V-Day gift ideas for kids, moms & dads… But what about a list just for vegans? I mean, I’m a vegan, sooo… It only makes sense, right? Right! Oh, and you totally don’t have to be vegan to appreciate this stuff. Promise. The only criteria I used for the products on this list were: 1. They had to be vegan (duh) and 2. They had to be things I’d like to receive myself. 😉 Alright, let’s bring on the vegan-y goodness!
Tea Sparrow is a subscription service for — you guessed it — loose leaf teas. The Tea Sparrow team diligently samples various blends from around the globe. When they find their favorites, they pack ’em up and send them along to their lucky subscribers. Every month you’ll receive four pouches of hand-selected teas — enough to make up to 35 cups. Subscriptions are $20/month (less with longer commitments) with free shipping to the continental US and Canada. There’s also an option to pause/restart your sub whenever you’d like. Tea Sparrow kindly sent me January’s box o’ tea to review. This […]
Ecocentric Mom recently switched from a monthly box to an every-other-month box. I was a little bummed about it at first, but I’m kinda happy about the change now. It saves me money and gives me more time to use up the products before the next box arrives. As always, I received the “Mom & Baby” box this month. The other two options available are a “Mom-to-Be Box” and just a plain ol’ “Mom” box. Subscriptions are $24/box, but they often have discount codes available that are often good for the life of your sub. (I was able to score […]
Austin Lloyd is a great new(ish) subscription box for little ones. They offer unique, high-end toys selected specifically for your child’s current “play level”. I was lucky enough to be sent a review box this past November (which I LOVED), and even luckier to have won January’s box via a blog giveaway. Woo! Austin Lloyd is committed to providing toys that are not only engaging, but also bpa & phthalate free. None of the toys will ever require batteries and the total value of the items will always exceed the cost of your box. Awesome! Oh, did I mention that they also give you the […]
Conscious Box tiiiime! For any newbs out there (hi!), Conscious Box is a monthly subscription box that features eco-friendly/natural products. Items range from healthy snacks, to natural toothpaste, and everything in between. There are 3 different boxes to choose from: The Vegan Box (which I get), The Gluten-Free Box, and the Classic Box. All boxes are $19.95/month, but you can almost always find a coupon code — often up to 50% off! This month’s box felt really heavy, which is odd for a Conscious Box, so I couldn’t wait to open it. What was inside? Let’s take a gander!
Nibblr is a new snack subscription that offers a variety of portion-controlled snacks delivered to your door weekly, bi-weekly, or once a month (it’s up to you!). They currently have over 50 different snack mixes, ranging from fruit & nut blends, to “feel good sweets”, to more savory choices. Nibblr offers a cool rating system on their site so that you can choose which types of snacks you’d most like to try, as well as which ones you just wanna avoid altogether. I used the system to weed out all of the non-vegan snacks, and it totally worked! All of […]
Q Box is a brand new subscription box that offers a neat assortment of goodies (mostly) from South Korea and Japan. Products can range anywhere from housewares, to beauty, fashion, and anywhere in between. Boxes are $24.95/month or less with longer commitments. Every box will have at least 5 to 7 products, including one piece of “high quality jewelry”. They also have a shop on their site with a handful of cute, kitschy items for sale (like the birdhouse keyring above!). Q Box was kind enough to send me January’s box to review and I couldn’t wait to see what […]
Oh, snap! There’s less than 4 weeks until V-Day! Have you procured suitable gifts for your loved ones yet? (I haven’t! haha) I thought I’d take some time to hunt down some fun Valentine’s Day gift ideas for everyone on your list (if V-day “lists” are even a thing). Enjoy! Gifts for the kiddos: Melissa & Doug Sweet Treat Tower – I would have LOVED this when I was little! I was obsessed with anything food-related, especially treats. I noticed the Melissa & Doug cookie set around Christmas time and really wanted to get it but was able to resist… This […]
Sjaak’s Organic Chocolates is a family-owned business that’s dedicated to producing awesome, high quality confections while maintaining socially responsible practices. All of Sjaak’s handcrafted treats are created with organic, non-GMO ingredients. They also support fair trade practices and promote a positive work environment. Jacques and Pam, the husband and wife team behind Sjaak’s, are longtime vegetarians. This is important to note, because in addition to their line of “traditional” confections, they also offer a full line of 100% vegan chocolates for their non-dairy eatin’ customers. (Like me!) 🙂 Sjaak’s was kind enough to send me some of their vegan chocolates to […]
Bestowed is a monthly subscription box that features healthy snacks & foods carefully chosen by nutritionist/author Heather Bauer. Boxes are only $19/month (including shipping!) and contain a nice variety of different snacks, food items, and beverages to help you start or maintain a healthy lifestyle. There’s a nice lil’ code at the end of this post that’ll save you $9 on your first box (making it just $10!). January’s Bestowed box focuses on making positive changes in the new year, starting with small choices — like the snacks you choose to eat. So what’s inside? Let’s take a gander!
Oh, snap! It’s Love With Food time again! This month’s theme is “Wake up to the New Year”. I have no idea how that ties into the snacks, but whatev. Maybe they’re just welcoming us to a whole new year of snackin’? Who knoooows. Love With Food boxes are still only $10/month (plus $2 shipping). They also have a “deluxe” box for $19.95/month (free shipping). With every box purchased, Love With Food donates a meal to a person in need. Everyone wins! Onto the snackage!
