Seedling is a company that offers a wide range of engaging activities and projects for kids ages 3 through 12. While not a subscription service, I still thought they would be fun to check out.
Seedling currently has over 350 products and are always adding new ones. Each kit is designed to encourage exploration and open-ended play. They believe that there is no “right” or “wrong” way to complete the project and that it’s all about enjoying the creative process. [read more…]
I haven’t received a From the Lab box since February, so I kinda thought the subscription was gone for good. — Guess I thought wrong!
If you’re new to them, From the Lab is a monthly beauty box that sends you luxury brand beauty products at a drastically lower cost — months before they’re released to the US market. They source their products from some of the same beauty labs that luxury brands develop their lines in. However, they’re able to offer them at a much lower cost because they don’t do extensive marketing campaigns or worry about pretty packaging. These dryer balls were handmade exclusively for GlobeIn’s customers in Kyrgyzstan, where wool is a way of life. (The country is world-famous for its shyrdak felt rugs.) The wool balls were made by artisans of Altyn Kol Women’s Cooperative. The cooperative employs over 1,000 craftswomen and serves as one of few sources of cash income available to the region’s remote farming and shepherding villages.
