Ivy Kids is a monthly activityย boxย for children aged 3 through 8. It was founded by a certified early childhood educator, turned stay-at-home mom who had begun creating her own activities in order to entertain and educate her kiddos.
Each Ivy Kids kit contains more than ten activities, along with a book which all of the activities are based upon. The games, projects, and crafts are all designed to โdevelopย fineย and gross motor muscles, build math and literacyย skills, encourage reading comprehension, and promote scientific thinkingโ. All of the materials youโll need are included right in your kit, as well as instructions and age modifications for each project.

We always enjoy our Ivy Kids boxes and this month was no different. The butterfly/Monarch theme was perfect for springtime and I LOVE the cute keepsake project!

September 2014 Ivy Kids Review
Once again, Iโm totally impressed with Ivy Kids! Thereโs so many fun games & activities and itโs great that they include tips to tailor each one to your childโs current age. I also love that everything is based on a different book each month โ such a great concept! My girls are almost at the point where theyโll be able to engage with these boxes and I canโt wait! ๐

October 2014 Ivy Kids Review
Despite the lack of pumpkins & Halloween-y things, this was a fun box. I would never think of these activities on my own, let alone put them all together (the supplies). This is a great box to keep kiddos busy and work on their math & reading skills at the same time.

November 2014 Ivy Kids Review
A great box for fans of “Chicka Chicka Boom Boom” and the alphabet in general. (Yes, I consider my kiddos “fans” of the alphabet!) Simple activities that can be easily understood by young children and that help reinforce their comprehension of the alphabet, uppercase/lowercase, etc. I like that many of the activities involve dry erase markers or magnets, making them things that can be played with over and over again.

December 2014 Ivy Kids Review
Another great box chock full ‘o fun activities. I would never be able to think up all of these on my own (nor would I have the time/patience/money to round up all the supplies), so I love having all the work done for me. Thanks, Ivy Kids! ๐

January 2015 Ivy Kids Review
Yep, another great Ivy Kids box. I was happy to see “The Snowy Day”, since I’ve been wanting to get it for the girls. Saves me some moolah. As always, the projects tied in perfectly with the book and seemed fun and easy to complete.

Yep, another great box from Ivy Kids. This is definitely one of my favorite kid’s subscription boxes. There’s just so many cute activities packed into the box, and I love how they all center around a particular book each month. Good stuff!

April 2015 Ivy Kids Review
I’m always amazed by how much stuff they fit into their boxes every month. I’ve been piling them all up to pull out when my girls are a little bit older and I have such a hard time fitting everything back inside each one. There’s definitely enough activities to last throughout the entire month and then-some.

June 2015 Ivy Kids Review
I loved the cute blueberry theme for this month’s box. While my girls are still a few months shy of 3, there were still plenty of activities they were able to enjoy. The “older” ones will be saved for when they’re ready, but the majority of materials were used and continue to be enjoyed & scattered over the house. ๐

July 2015 Ivy Kids Review
Yet another fun box from Ivy Kids. The theme was unique and my kiddos had a lot of fun with it. I love that they have an affordable sibling “add-on” that provides plenty of materials for two siblings to complete. No fighting! ๐

August 2015 Ivy Kids Review
While the book this month was kind of a miss for us, the rest of the box was awesome. The girls loved making all of the instruments and the alphabet bingo game has already become a favorite.

This was such a fun box! Ivy Kids is always great, but this theme was just extra fun for some reason. The girls loved the activities and learning all about the color changing chameleons. An awesome box! ๐
