Simply Earth has just launched a brand new product — Blue Tansy Essential Oil!
Mainly cultivated in Morocco, Blue Tansy is a member of the chamomile family and has a sweet, herbaceous scent. The plant itself produces yellow flowers, but during the distillation process a chemical called chamazulene is created — giving the oil a pretty blue hue!
In the past, Blue Tansy oil has been used to treat sores, fevers, rheumatism, intestinal worms, and other digestive problems. Today, it’s typically used for its skin soothing/brightening ability and calming properties. [read more…]
