It seems the less I check tracking updates, the quicker my Citrus Lane box arrives. Works for me!
If you haven’t heard, Citrus Lane is a monthly subscription for babies/kids aged newborn-5. It’s $29/month (less with longer term subscriptions) and includes a nice assortment of toys, books, snacks, toiletries, etc. Sometimes they even include a gift for mom. It’s by far one of my favorite boxes to open each month.
My girls are 2 and a half, so this box is geared towards that age. [read more…]
Okay, so I *thought* I had successfully canceled my bluum account already, but clearly I didn’t. When I received their “sorry to see you go” email, I assumed that meant it was a done deal. Um, nope. Turns out there was another link in there that I had to click to REALLY, officially cancel my subscription. Psssh.
Anywhooo, if you’re not aware, bluum is a monthly subscription box for babies & kiddos from birth through age 5. Each box contains five or more products that are responsibly sourced, eco-friendly and often organic. The contents are based on the age of your kiddo in months, so boxes tend to vary a LOT.
My girls are currently 32(?) months old, so the bluum box I received was geared towards a 33 month old child. [read more…]
My Glossybox actually arrived pretty early this month, which is a nice change. I already knew what was going to be in the box, but I was still looking forward to checking everything out.
If you’re not aware, Glossybox is a monthly beauty subscription box that sends 5-6 deluxe sized samples packed inside a super sturdy, reusable box. Now that BuddhiBox offers a vegan subscription option, I look forward to its arrival even more. The unboxing for this sub was always fun, but knowing I won’t have to check ingredients — even better!

I reviewed our first My Pretend Place Dress Up Box back in February and was really impressed with what was inside (you can check it out here). My girls are at the age where they’re taking more interest in pretend play, so I was excited to see what would be in store for April’s box.
My Pretend Place Dress Up Box is a quarterly dress-up and “make believe” subscription for both boys and girls. It consists of a selection of items designed to encourage imagination and pretend play geared towards kids aged 3 through 6.

Ivy Kids is celebrating the long-awaited arrival of spring with the theme of April’s box. — It’s all about seeds, plants, and flowers! Fun!
If you’re not aware, Ivy Kids is a monthly activity box for children aged 3 through 8. It was founded by a certified early childhood educator, turned stay-at-home mom who had begun creating her own activities in order to entertain and educate her kiddos.
Every Ivy Kids kit contains more than 10 activities, along with a book which all of the activities are based upon. Sparkle Box is a fun subscription that sends you a personalized box of stylist-selected jewelry every month. I tend not to accessorize with jewelry much in the colder months, so with spring finally here I was excited to check out this box!

Taste Guru is one of the few monthly subscriptions boxes out there that’s dedicated to the gluten-free lifestyle. It’s a great way for those who follow a gluten-free diet to discover new “safe” food, drink, and snack items.

Last month I reviewed the first mission in the Junior Explorers subscription (Mission Arctic). This month we’re heading to the Serengeti to learn about the great African migration and all of the animals who take part in it.
Junior Explorers is a fun, educational subscription box for kids 6 to 11 that allows them to explore the natural world. They’ll learn about wildlife and ecosystems, as well as the importance of protecting them.
Your child will embark on a new “mission” each month, which is comprised of both physical materials as well as exclusive online content. The mailed portion includes collectibles, activities, animal facts, and more. They’ll also receive a password to access the online portion of their mission. Yay! Sudsy Box time again! This is by far one of my favorite boxes to open just because it smells SO dang good. Damn good even. (Ooooh.)
Sudsy Box is a subscription box that sends you 3 full-sized handmade bars of soap every other month. They also include a bonus body product in each box (hand sanitizer, lip balm, etc). The soaps are all natural and handmade by Heidi’s Artisan Soap, who recently merged with Sudsy Box to form Sudsy & Co. They also just started offering a baby line! [read more…]
I first reviewed Fit Snack back in January and was pleased with the selection of healthy snacks they sent. I didn’t get a chance to check out February’s box, so I was excited to see what they’d have in store for March.
Fit Snack doesn’t just toss any ol’ snacks into their boxes. They have a set of guidelines that help them choose items that are both well balanced and nutrient dense. When selecting products to include in the box, they use the Fit Snack “Perfect 10″.
